The Battle of the Bars

In these times of budget cuts and possible tuition hikes, Ohio University students would do well to count their blessings, all 19 of them. Students enrolled at Ohio University’s Athens campus are endowed with a surplus of bars. With the newest uptown bar addition, 12 East, thirsty bobcats have their choice of a myriad of uptown dives in to imbibe their favorite poisons.

Little Monsters

On the third floor of Putnam Hall the Ohio University Little Monsters is practicing their dance for The Mr. Empower event they will be performing at on Thursday. For an organization that is dedicated to volunteer work, it sure looks like they have a lot of fun doing it.

The Fixed Income Group: Fostering Tomorrow’s Wall Street Exec’s

The Fixed Income Group is a newer Ohio University student organization that takes business majors and turns them into high powered financial gurus. Not many students are able to say they know where they’ll be going after graduation, but these students are set with not only the knowledge they need to succeed in business, they also have jobs lined up waiting for them to put that know-how to good use.
