He steps off the field, last game of his senior year and the fans are giving him and his brothers a standing ovation. Then just like the snap of a finger the next 8 months blow by. Recruiting consumes his senior year and he finally makes that all important decision. Graduation comes and he says goodbye to friends and family as he heads off to two-a-days. He endures weeks of practice and training with every one of his teammates. Until, finally the regular season rolls around.

As you walk through the sturdy steel gates, you are greeted by the old familiar faces of the original deep red facades of the buildings. Within every worn brick lies the story of students who have roamed the halls and gone on to achieve great success. As these buildings have generated vast amounts of promise in the years before, so will the future facilities to come. Within the hardened cement of every new brick laid, there lies the foundation for infinite possibilities and achievement.

Standing in front of a room full of curious college students, with an open math book and piece of chalk in hand, writing down algebraic equations and mathematical formulas, soft-spoken Professor Michael Morales, a first-year graduate student and Mathematics professor at Ohio University, did not fit any of those stereotypes. He looked like any average-Joe one may pass walking down the street, with his neatly ironed, light blue, button-down shirt, short, dark hair and modest oval glasses.
